DIGITAL CAMSHAFT SPECS
Below are listed the
specifications of some common factory and aftermarket camshafts. These
measurements were performed on a "Cam Doctor", a tool for digitizing
cam profiles for use in engine simulation software. The measurements shown are
at .050" lift. Many cam grinders advertise their profiles at .020"
lift, but most experts agree that the lift below .020" is insignificant to
the performance of the camshaft, although, it can have an affect on idle and
lobe/lifter wear.

The specs above are for Exhaust/Intake Duration at
.050" and Camshaft Lift in inches.
To find Net Lift multiply the Intake by 1.3, and the Exhaust by 1.13.
L/C stands for Lobe Center (the distance between the intake and exhaust lobes).
